Cocoa Brown

Most notably known for her lead role in the film Tyler Perry’s The Single Mom’s Club and For Better or
Worse on OWN network, the hilarious comedian/actress Cocoa (pronounced Co-kah) Brown treats
audiences to thought-provoking humor in which she declares “I don’t tell jokes I tell the truth!” Her
Grown and Evolved Woman delivery both on stage and on the screen have landed her in supporting
roles such as FX’s American Crime Story, NBC’s Marlon, and most recently FOX’s critically acclaimed
9-1-1 and the Mindy Kaling’s life inspired Netflix series, “Never Have I Ever”. Cocoa will also be
appearing on the new 50 cent/Starz cable network series, “BMF: Black Mafia Family” in Summer 2021.
Cocoa has generated and continues to grow a large and loyal following all over the world and has
proven to her fans old and new that not only is she a funny comedian, but she is also a versatile and
talented actress.

Cocoa has had guest star roles on several other notable TV projects including 2 Broke Girls, Psych,
The Soul Man, The Neighborhood and Breaking Bad as well as supporting roles in major motion
pictures such as films as Ted 2 (in which she was hand-picked for the role of “Joy” by Seth
MacFarlane), Lakeview Terrace with Samuel L. Jackson, Lethal Procedures directed by Jahmar Hill
and His, Hers, and the Truth which is one of the official selections of the 2019 American Black Film
Festival and Fruits of the Harvest, both directed by director Coke Daniels.

Being appropriately dubbed as a “comedy machine gun” by America’s Got Talent judge Sharon
Osbourne, she has received numerous awards including the DC Comedian of the Year after only a
short time of stand-up and was handpicked by the family of Moms Mabley to receive the 2018 Moms
Mabley Legacy Award. She is a fan favorite and has been all over the world touring regularly and has
also been featured on the Showtime Network Shaquille O’Neal Comedy All-Stars as well as a featured
performer at the 2018 Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.

Cocoa is also a staunch believer in “Paying it Forward” and has shown that belief by partnering with
the Social Butterflies Foundation that supports women with Lupus and Fibromyalgia by donating 10%
of all sales from The Cocoa Brown Collection, her CBD infused health and beauty product line and
Cocoas Craveables, a CBD infused baked goods and candies, to the foundation. She also founded
and teaches acting, stand up comedy and the business of show business to adults and children with
her “From Stage 2 Screen” and “Little Oscars” Acting workshops. Not only do audiences get a great
show but they feel as though they have gained a lifelong friend. Cocoa says, “If my audience feels like
they know me, then that means I’ve connected with them and I’ve truly shared my gift.” Cocoa has a
style that relates to both women and men and an energy and warmness on and off the stage and
screeen that has earned her the respect and love of crowds and colleagues alike. There is no doubt
that you will see Cocoa Brown continue to take her life and her career by the reigns and maneuver it
on her own terms and what will manifest from that will blow your minds!

Tony Rock | Dec 15-18 | Charlotte

Comedian, Actor, Producer Tony Rock is the hardest working man in show business. Born in the same Brooklyn Hospital where most of his eight brothers and sisters arrived into the world, Tony was born laughing and it was quickly apparent that his big brother wasn’t going to be the only famous comedian in the family.

Tony Rock at the Comedy House

Tony has proven to be one of television’s best hosts having played the role of ringleader on HBO’s weekly stand-up comedy series All Def Comedy, NBA TV’s The Warm Up, along with BET’s Black Card Revoked and Apollo Live, all while co-starring in his first prime-time network series – CBS’ Living Biblically.

Performing stand-up comedy continues to be Tony’s first love and this year has proven no different.  You can see him on tour in 2018 as one of the featured acts on the Platinum Comedy Tour with Mike Epps, The Festival Of Laughs with Comedienne Sommore, and his own Tony Rock Live club tour!

Outside of the lights-camera-action, Tony works tirelessly as the founder of the MyROCK Diabetes Foundation, a charity organization established in honor of his late father.

Rod Man

Best known as the winner of Last Comic Standing Season 8, Comedian Rod Man is truly a gem in the World of Standup Comedy today. His unique delivery and voice capture the attention of audiences. Throw in his laid back style, southern charm, wit, and ability to find the funny in everyday life, and you have the ingredients for a future Comedy Star in the making.

Rod Man got hooked on comedy at a young age. He signed up for “open mic” nights at Atlanta’s Uptown Comedy Club, hosted by the hilarious Earthquake. “Uptown was the place to be on Tuesday nights. The place was packed. You never knew who would stop in and do a guest spot. And you never really knew when you were going to hit the stage, because the list meant absolutely nothing to Earthquake.”

Last Comic Standing - Season 8

Since those open mic nights, Rod has become an award-winning, quintessential entertainer. He has graced the stage at Caesar’s Palace, The Gibson Amphitheater, and The Apollo Theater. He is currently the host of his own YouTube shows — Time Out with Rod Man and That Good Funny. Rod Man is competing on the upcoming season of “Last Comic Standing” and has made many other television appearances, including “The Bad Boys of Comedy” for HBO, Martin Lawrence’s “First Amendment” for Starz, Nick Cannon’s “Wild ‘N Out” for MTV, “One Mic Stand” for BET, “The Funny Spot” for TV One, and “The World Stands Up” for BBC America. He even co-hosted a morning drive-time show in Los Angeles on Stevie Wonder-owned KJLH Radio 102.3 FM.

Rod Man is also an actor and writer, known for his roles in Funny People (2009) with Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen, The Big Black Comedy Show, Vol. 2 (2005), and The Chocolate Sundaes Comedy Show (2013).

The world is catching on to what true Rod Man fans already know — he’s down-to-earth, crazy-funny, and truly a special talent.
