Help the Comedy House Staff

The coronavirus pandemic has forced the Comedy House to close until further notice.

For 12 years, stand-up comedy has made a home at the Comedy House. Great shows from big entertainers like Mike Epps, Kevin Hart, Lavell Crawford, Chris Tucker, Nephew Tommy, John Witherspoon, Rickey Smiley, Sommore, Bruce Bruce, Arnez J, Eddie Griffin, Tracy Morgan, Kountry Wayne, 85 South…the list just goes on and on. Don’t forget our local talent shows we present every month; Leading Ladies Cabaret, Black Diamonds, Wild Out Columbia and Columbia’s Got Talent.

While so many entertainers out grow “clubs.” Our stars continue to return and perform in our showroom because of our top notch operation and the best audiences anywhere. Stand-up comedy is better when you can have dinner and see the comedian just feet away from your table. So many of you have met them personally and made pictures with them! We really share something extraordinary right here in Columbia SC.

A majority of our staff has worked every one of these shows since we opened! They need your help. Most do not have insurance. They will struggle with bills during the shut down.

A Go Fund Me page has been set-up to allow Comedy House customers, vendors and comedians to help our staff make it through this difficult time.

Our goal is raise $10,000 for our 28 staff members laid off during the pandemic. With your help, you can make a huge difference in these workers lives.

Every amount given will help a member of the Comedy House staff buy groceries and pay rent. We will come back strong with great comedy shows, good food and fun times!

And we’ll be together!
